Evan was born in Kent Washington, South of Tacoma, but moved to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho when he was five years old. While growing up in CDA he joined the Boy Scouts, obtained Eagle rank and grew to love all activities outdoors such as fly fishing, skiing, hiking, rock climbing the list runs on. Evan began working for CSGI in his sophomore summer of high school as a laborer on dozens of commercial and residential jobs for the following six summers. He began getting a good understanding of field work which then carried on to an interest in the designs and how people used the spaces that were created.

Graduating from Lake City High School with a love for Art and Environmental Science, Evan proceeded to further his education at the University of Idaho. Graduating In the spring of 2021 with a Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, deciding to come back to CSGI after graduating Evan is pursuing his licensure currently to become a fully licensed Landscape Architect.
